Setting The Scene

Basically, in other words, what I’m trying to say is, at the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, the reality is, to put it another way, all of these colloquial transitions eerily create a type of anticipation (albeit somewhat annoying) when strung together in a sentence. There is another way to build such feelings of expectation without the precluding fillers. It’s called setting the scene. I was struggling with a deep thought the other night. Then today, I went outside and, while forgetting my umbrella, it suddenly struck me. It was rain. See? Your turn.
