Distraction vs. Focal Point
The opposite of a distraction is a focal point. A distraction is something or someone who prevents you from giving full attention, time, resources and energy to something else. A focal point gives you the opportunity to fully hone in on the intended task, project or relationship. But what to do when your distraction has the potential of becoming your new focal point and your original focus now becomes the faux distraction? All things considered, a focal point is an original, intentional distraction from all other subsequent distractions. So remember the true destination, chart your course and get going again.
