Turning Pro: The Practice

by bxrtley

Turning Pro was inspiring. I’ve found the pain of practice to be my humble abode in this unforgiving wilderness of struggle. I’m working for the work itself. There is no marshmallow. Just a chair, a table and my work. This daily uninspiring grind is what’s attracting the Muse I’ve been searching for. Pros don’t wait for inspiration. When I stopped treating my ritual as an incantation for success and submitted to it as a regimen for positioning me to choose deep work, I noticed a shift. They’re mini pro moments that’ll one day add up to officially being a professional.
