Back to Social Media 1.0

Maybe Social Media has been more about being found rather than reaching out. And those who intentionally connect are paid to do so (marketing strategists) or have a very specific agenda (job-seeker). But what if you (yes you) had an agenda that was highly specific with no benefit outside of just building a new relationship? Sort of like what AOL chatrooms and Web 1.0 forums did when they first came out. Those were exciting times. If your social media was more about interrelations as opposed to discoverability, how many accounts would you close? Which ones would stay open? Be intentional.
