Kill the Pushpins, Execution-Style
I have a friend who is obsessed with pushpins. But more so, the gratifying process of selecting and pushing those colorful, plastic-headed thumbtacks into a cork board with a dream, to-do, vision statement or daring goal wedged in-between. They are more fascinated with the idea of having plenty things to accomplish, rather than simply (or rigorously) accomplishing them. But the only thing better than a mosaic of pushpins posted flush across a cork board is an empty cork board that is now polka-dotted with colorless pinholes. Dream boards are great. Execution’s even better.
